  1. This is very interesting, Jeff. I’m a glutton for statistics, even though frequently they are faulty. It would be interesting to compare relative box office numbers with the most pirated movies. This would tell us if the pirated films represent actual popularity in the civilized world or the taste of the pirates or the taste of folks who buy pirated films. Misinformation is doubtlessly as rampant in the underworld as in the Halls of Congress, in major film studios or in the world of academe.

  2. I can’t help but laugh at Green Lantern being there. I hope studios know that it’s there because no one wanted to pay for it, rather than it being a “hot title”, like Transformers 3 most likely is. Either way, they’re pissed I suppose.

  3. For “Green Lantern” it may be insult to injury, but perhaps the film’s publicity dept. can spin it into bragging rights for the VOD campaign.
