This Sunday marks a very important milestone in TV history. And no, we’re not talking about the “Game of Thrones” series finale, but the 15th anniversary of the “Angel” series finale.
And in honor of it, TheWrap asked star David Boreanaz to look back on the closing moments of the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” spinoff’s final episode, “Not Fade Away,” and to tell us what he thinks of that big cliffhanger a decade and a half later.
“I’ve always thought it ended great,” the “SEAL Team” star told us. “I mean, even when it was written and we shot it, I had no problems with it. I think that’s great. I mean, I think that that’s a world that had opened up to a lot of people — the way our show, the way ‘Angel’ ended was I think right. You kind of go out continuously fighting, you know? And I think that the message of the show was always about the fight and that was a special moment.”
